Apprentices using Empire’s EMT-7R Power rotary machine in BC’s Sheet Metal Worker’s Training Center

The Sheet Metal Workers Training Centre in Surrey, BC held their annual Local 280 apprenticeship contest on November 22, 2014, which was another success. The event challenges students from 1st to 4th year levels to put their skills to the test in many disciplines including shop, welding, drafting and theory. The training centre was kind enough to forward a few pictures of the event showing the students using Empire’s EMT-7R Power rotary machine.

The Sheet Metal Workers Training Centre aims to provide training to sheet metal apprentices and journeypersons in British Columbia using the most current methods and technology.

Empire Machinery is glad we were able to help contribute the successful event.
