Durma VS Series
Variable Rake Shear
VS Series CNC Shears provide versatility along with the technology and construction for shearing thin narrow strips or the precision processing of large plates.
The upper beam which carries the upper blade is guided by adjustable preloaded and hardened guide ways, a system normally found in much more expensive machines.
Both the rake angle and the blade clearance are adjusted hydraulically, reducing maintenance and providing overload protection. The rake angle can be reduced as low as 30° reducing distortion in the sheared blank. This can be especially beneficial in the shearing of narrow strips.
